Hourly Rate
I charge a flat rate of $35 per hour for my work. This is all-inclusive. There are no additional fees or costs unless you use a credit card, then there is a small processing fee of 2.9%. I sell my hours in blocks of 5 or 10 hours and these are good for an entire calendar year from the purchase date.
This allows you to buy hours when you need them and use them when you need them.
Imagine how worry-free that is!
Billing
You’ll receive two invoice links: one for the 5-hour block, one for the 10-hour block. All you have to do is pay ONE of those invoices. When you’re about 75% through that hours block, I’ll send out another set of links. Please note, these invoices have NO DUE DATES. I work once I get paid, and I work until the hours run out.
No Refund Policy
I purposefully keep my rates in a place where I’m confident I can provide for myself and keep my business running. I don’t have set-up fees, fees for the Discover Call, or admin fees.
When you buy hours from me, you have a full 12 months from the date of purchase to use them–and believe me, I will find ways of using them in that time.
FAQ
Do you offer any discounts?
I am a sole-member LLC. If I wanted to offer discounts, I’d have to inflate my hourly rate to do so. The cost per hour is the cost for me to maintain my website, software, certifications, and other business expenses while still paying myself a living wage.
Why only 5 or 10 hours? What if I need a different number of hours?
I set my time blocks the way I did for a couple of reasons. The first is that both give you the opportunity to see what a virtual assistant can do for you. The second is that you have greater flexibility in paying for the hours you need, when you need them. Not every business can support having a virtual assistant on retainer.
The whole idea about my having smaller chunks of time is so that when you can afford hours, you buy them and then use them when you actually need them. If you know, for instance, that you need extra help during one particular month but you have the money three months prior, go ahead and buy the hours now, and they’ll be ready for you when you need them.
Now, if you need more than 10 hours, I’d recommend still starting with the 10-hour package. If, at the end of the 10-hour package, you decide you want to buy a bigger block of hours, let me know.
When do you start working?
I work once I’ve been paid. I stop when the hours run out. You receive weekly updates on how many hours you have left and links to re-purchase hours once I’m about 75% of the way through.
What if I’m not satisfied?
If you’re not happy with the work, just tell me. Part of hiring a virtual assistant is providing clear communication. I try to go over what our expectations of one another are going to be from the beginning.
Do you offer refunds?
I have a strict no-refund policy. As you can see from above, I’ve taken pains to calculate even the credit card processing fees associated with paying my invoices so you know nearly to the cent want to expect. I don’t charge for the Discovery Call, I don’t have admin or set-up fees, I literally have nothing except the money from the hours you pay for.
How does this even work?
Glad you asked! Having a Virtual Assistant is a lot easier than you may think.
Part of my Contact Form goes over what your needs are in your business. We discuss those needs in greater detail during our Discovery Call. Take, for instance, Email Management. If you need one of your inboxes brought under control, we’ll discuss your priorities for your inbox, organization, etc.
If you decide to proceed, I’ll send you over the service agreement to sign and my first invoice. Once the invoice is paid, work begins!
Now, here’s where the cool part comes in, say you have a meeting coming up and you need help with slides for a presentation? Well, a virtual assistant can help you with those too! Just shoot me a text or email with what you need and by when and I’ll check my task list to make s sure I can delivery what you need on time and within your remaining hours.
How do I know you’re actually using the hours and not just running the clock?
I provide weekly reports of all the major things I’ve done for you with a breakdown of the time spent on each task. I track my time in ClickUp, which breaks down the time spent by task.
