Why I Created Romance and Rosé
I fell in love with reading through the Romantic Movement (about 1800-1850). This was the era of some of the best novels ever written: Pride and Prejudice, Ivanhoe, The Count of Monte Cristo, to name a few. This is my attempt to show you, who already love romance, and others how the romance writers of today carry on the great tradition of the writers of yesteryear–ok, so the writers over a century and a half ago…
But who’s counting?
I see Romance in four ways: as a genre, as a story, as a movement, and as a philosophy. Join my YouTub channel and my newsletter community as we go on this rather daring exploration of modern romance, classic literature, and how they affect our lives and our outlooks.
No longer will you blush when you tell someone you read romance.
No longer will anyone be able to call what you read silly, or smutty. I’m going to give you the tools to stand against the naysayers and the pessimists who think if you aren’t miserable you aren’t really living, and that if you aren’t writing about human misery, you aren’t a serious writer.
I’ll see you there!
